Homes for Life
What is Homes for Life?
Homes for Life provides a shelter for males between 17 and 21 years of age who are homeless. Additionally it provides support services for the residents. The main source of the males participating in Homes for Life is Department of Social Services foster care. Those young men who reach their majority, age 18, while still in foster care are required to leave. Others come to Homes for Life after completing drug rehabilitation programs. Homes for Life provides a way for participants to make the transition into independent living. The participants reside in a home like environment while receiving intense supervision and support; all of which is provided within the message of the love of Christ.
